Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are what make the look and feel of a web page. The most recent version of CSS is 3, which has all sorts of standard goodies that can do wonders for your site. Things like rounded corners on boxes, gradient backgrounds and opacity, are just a few examples of the functions handled by CSS3. Functions that used to require tedious coding and time.
CSS4 is already in the works with some of its new features already available, like the presponsive layout, cascading scripting and server-side stylesheets (Command-Line Interface Styling Scriptsheets or CLISS). Keep your eyes open, CSS4 should be here any day.
